Everyone needs a personal cheerleader. A supportive friend who encourages and lives in a world of possibilities. When the score of a game is lopsided, and their team is losing, they say, “the game’s not over yet”. They know sports’ games have been won, with shocked fans looking on with mouths open in silence, in the last few seconds.
Cheerleaders weave reality into their supportive efforts watching the fine line that turns them into a Pollyanna clone.
How blessed are we who have personal cheerleaders. Do you have one or more than one? What makes them special, a cheerleader? I’m writing an article about friends for a publication. I know all about mine, and would love to hear about yours. Tell me about them using the comment box on the website or use our Facebook page.
